About Southern Scenes
I have lived in the Southern Illinois area all my
life and have enjoyed photographing its many wonders for as long as I can
remember. Some of my favorites are the Sunsets; you can look into the same
horizon from the same footprints and every night you will see a wonderfully
unique display of color and clouds across the sky. Flowers and Animals, Mother
Nature never ceases to amaze me. Some of the sites and attractions found
right here in Southern Illinois compare to those found
anywhere in the world, well maybe not on as grand a scale as some but beautiful
none the less. With everything from its towering monuments to the swamps, lakes
and rivers, rock bluffs, national forests, historic buildings, wildlife, open
landscapes Southern Illinois will never have a shortage
of photographic opportunities.
In the later 70's I began Shooting weddings for many of my friends and
family as a wedding gift to the bride and groom from myself. From that seed I
expanded to shooting weddings for their friends and family. It's a magical
feeling to be responsible for capturing that moment in time when two become
one. I love doing it and would be happy to help you with yours.

I have 25 years of experience in shooting weddings and receptions in
the Southern Illinois and the surrounding area, as well as class reunions, family reunions

Events Base Price of $350.00 includes: 96 shots - 5 hour
shoot - within 15 miles of my office - two sets of prints - the
negatives - and a complimentary photo album.
Family Photo Base Price of $100.00 includes: 24 shots - 2
hours shoot - within 15 miles of my office - one/two sets of prints - the
negatives - and a complimentary photo album.
